Jalapeño Poppers

Writer's picture: CookinwithStephOCookinwithStephO

Ingredients

8-10 large jalapeños (you can use smaller ones you’ll just need more of them)

1 (8 oz) package softened cream cheese

4-6 slices of bacon, cooked and crispy

1-2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese, mild or sharp what you prefer

2 tablespoons fry finely chopped red onion

1 clove minced garlic

Directions

Place your softened cream cheese in your stand mixer bowl. Or you can use a med size mixing bowl and use a hand mixer or a spoon to stir. Give the cream cheese a quick mix just to get it mixed up. 30 seconds or so. Chop your bacon into bite sized pieces and add to the cream cheese. Add your shredded cheese, red onion, and garlic and mix until combined. Set aside. Cut your jalapeño peppers in half (long way). You can leave the tops on or off, it’s up to you. Using a spoon scrap out the ribs and seeds. Once cleaned up add about a tablespoon or 2 of your filling and smooth the top so it’s level. Once all your peppers are filled place on your Air Fryer rack and set to Air Fryer setting at 400°. Cook for 10 minutes switching the racks halfway through. Once the cheese is nice and bubbly remove from the Air Fryer and enjoy! Can be served with ranch or any other dipping sauce you like.
