Grandma Linda’s Pie Crust

Ingredients
3 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1 cup shortening, I prefer the butter flavor
1 egg
1 tablespoon lemon juice
additional flour to roll out
Directions
In a large bowl, stir together flour, salt and sugar. Cut in the shortening with a fork or pastry blender. In a glass measuring cup beat the egg and lemon juice. Add just enough water to the egg and lemon juice to make 2/3 cup. Slowly blend into the flour mix, add a little more water if dry. Makes 2 large crusts
