Stromboli

Ingredients


1 (14 oz) Wewalka Classic Pizza Family Style Crust

8-10 sandwich size pepperoni

2/3 cup hot Italian sausage, cooked and crumbled

1 small red onion, diced

1 bell pepper, color of your choice, chopped

1 can mushrooms, chopped

5-7 Provolone or Mozzarella cheese slices

Pizza or Marinara sauce for dipping


Directions

Preheat your oven to 400°

If using linked sausage, cut away the casing and discard. Add your sausage to a sauté pan on medium high heat. Break up and brown using your Mix ‘N Chop. Once crumbled and cooked through remove your sausage with a Scoop ‘N Drain into a medium bowl. Saving the fat from the cooked sausage.

Add your onion, pepper, and mushrooms to the same sauté pan and cook over medium heat until slightly softened. Once cooked, remove from the pan and put in a medium bowl.

In your Stone Bar Pan, sprinkle a small amount of corn meal. Roll out your pizza dough onto the Stone Bar Pan. Line up your pepperoni down the middle, then the sautéed veggies, sausage, top with your cheese slices. Cut diagonal slices into your dough, and begin to fold them over each other. Place on the middle rack in your oven and bake until golden brown. 20-25 minutes

Let rest on the pan for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with pizza or marinara sauce. Enjoy!
